And the robots just keep coming! There are two very exciting events coming to Wollongong in the near future. Make sure you check them out!
Event #1: Robot Sumo Tournament (April 5th, 2:00 – 5:00 pm). Build Your Robot. Design A Strategy. Out-think Your Opponent. Open to participants of all ages and locations, this tournament will feature 30+ LEGO® MINDSTORMS® robots intent on battling it out to win bragging rights. Build a robot independently, or ask Project Bucephalus to visit and help get things going! General spectators are more than welcome.
Event #2: FTC Experience Day (April 14th, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm). FTC is coming to Wollongong! A major opportunity is coming to Wollongong, with Macquarie University dispatching robots and personnel to teach students how to compete and thrive in the FIRST® Tech Challenge. This is a free workshop, with no previous experience required. A great day for any High School student (or older Primary student) with an interest in robotics.
