Ultimate Impact at the FIRST World Championships!

Project Bucephalus has just returned from the USA, bringing home a collection of honours – including the Impact Award from the FIRST World Championships! This is nothing less than the single highest award in the global FIRST program, awarded to the team that best embodies the mission of FIRST through education, innovation, and lasting impact. It recognises students who aren’t just building robots, but changing the world!

In the 32-year history of the Championship Impact Award, this is only the 4th time it has gone to a team outside the USA. Teams around the world are now looking to Wollongong, and Project Bucephalus is now a member of the FIRST Hall of Fame – an elite group of some of the best teams in the world.

We’re still processing what this means. For now, we’ll start with a sincere THANK YOU to the friends and supporters that helped them get this far.
